Tanya and DJ are a really cool Brooklyn couple that wanted their engagement shoot to reflect the raw beauty and character of their (and our) Williamsburg neighborhood. We wandered around some of our favorite industrial graffiti-covered streets and stopped for lots of photos at various spots. Somehow Tanya and DJ managed to look in love even in the least traditionally romantic spots (such as the graffiti reading “bad brains” next to gigantic monkeys [although the gigantic monkeys aren't in the shot.]) It was a really fun shoot and we really loved getting to know them. Now we are even more excited to shoot their wedding next August! Hooray!
